I'm at peace
Today is special, There's something new in my life:
I found the first grey hair on the top of my head
I found the first grey hair on the top of my head
People used, to call me « young boy »
Now they call me "Mister", and show me respect
Now they call me "Mister", and show me respect
I'm much calmer, and that's soo fine...
I take time to live and try something new
I take time to live and to do more with you
My clothing style changed, its more sober I think.
I put my dock martin's in a box in the cellar,
just near old pictures and my first teddy bear,
And I feel fine, even if I'm older
I'm glad to leave this evolution
I feel much better like when I was young
i'm at peace with myself.
I quit smoking I'm really proud of that
No bad smell on my hand
no tobacco on my breath
I'm trying to stay fit Trying not to get fat
I'm watching what I eat, eating what is right
I watch what I eat for a good beer sometimes.
I run sometimes, in the park beside my flat
It helps me to release stress and the worries of the day
It helps me to release stress and the worries of the day
When I was young I was a rebel,
now I'm wiser, but I don't care !
I discovered new ways to enjoy my life
I discovered new ways...
And I feel fine, even if I'm older
I'm glad to leave this evolution
I feel much better like when I was young
i'm at peace with myself
i'm at peace...

I hate silence

I hate silence
Sit on my bed with my guitar in my hands
I close my eyes and I let my mind roam
And I start playing like if you were
But you're not here to listen to me
You're sitting in the living room and you study
cause' it's really important to you
You want another job and need to make up for
lost time..
I'm in the rooam next door and I sing a brand new song ...
but you're not here to listen to it
But when comes the time
You close your books and you smile
and then I put down my six string
in my guitar case
You tell me what you've learned,
I tell you what I sing, Then, we are happy
You tell me what you've learned,
I tell you what I Sing
I know you love music too, but at the moment
you've changed your priorities
You can't focus on your lessons because I'm
always playing too loud
I'm grateful you let me sing this song
even if you love silence, and I hate it!!
But when comes the time
You close your books and you smile
and then I put down my six string
in my guitar case
You tell me what you've learned,
I tell you what I sing, Then, we are happy
You tell me what you've learned,
I tell you what I Sing

Don't be the drifting sand
I don't recognize this man in front of me,
I am a stranger in my life,
Music is the core that keeps me alive
But I hide behind my lies.
I'm always doing what feels right,
Instead of rocking eternity.
If I could find courage to change, who I am
I would Turn, and walk away
Thats up to time,
But it should be up to me
The future is mine
It's time to do what I want, to say what I want
This dream is just for me
I may cry in the years, those tears are just for me
I believe in what I do, I believe in what you see!
The future is the wind in my hair
The shining sun my death tiny
it doesn't matter where I'm going as long as it's for me
yes I claim to be a dreamer with a rock and roll soul
that's just who I am and you can love me or you won't
it's not your right to try to hold me back
what's in your heart to know who I am
what do you know of freedom from within
It's time to do what I want, to say what I want
This dream is just for me
I may cry in the years, those tears are just for me
I believe in what I do, I believe in what you see!
I have this message
Wisdom wisdom from life's road
Don't be the drifter that's left behind
Don't be the drifting sand
